IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE
WITH A SLICE OF FUN.
Moto Pizza’s first brick-and-mortar location is more than a restaurant - it’s a brand come to life. Called “Moto in a Box,” this signature space serves as both a prototype and a stage, where every design choice channels the vibrant, offbeat spirit of the Moto experience.
The brand’s iconic, color-splashed pizza boxes inspired the concept - boxes so bold they begged to be displayed, celebrated, and integrated into the space itself. Moto’s world of hot pinks, robotic mascots, and irreverent energy translates into an industrial playground of metal surfaces, neon glow, and playful grit.
Drawing from themes like night market and sharing the love of pizza, the space invites curiosity. A glowing neon sign peeks through a protective metal grate in the queue line, catching attention without blocking the open kitchen - a deliberate move to showcase the art of the pizza, where every pie gets its final flourish in plain sight.
With a tiny footprint packed with kitchen equipment and nearly 1,000 folded boxes, the design had to be clever. Every inch works hard - but never feels heavy. It’s clean, punchy, and full of character.
“Moto” means origin in Japanese - and this space feels like just that: the joyful, slightly rebellious source of something deliciously different.
